Vision for Mathematics
At Ward End Primary every child is a mathematician.
All pupils have a positive and resilient attitude towards mathematics. they are competent and confident in mathematical knowledge, concepts and skills. They develop the ability to solve problems, to reason, to think logically and to work systematically and accurately.
All pupils develop an understanding of mathematics that can be used in their everyday lives. The basic skills of mathematics are vital for the life skills of our children.
