Family Support
Ward End Primary School hosts a permanent Family Support within the school premises. It is available to all families within school. As the name suggests, it is a supportive service to all, offering a diverse range of provisions to the family as a whole. Assistance is available with many day-to-day issues ie housing, benefit queries, safeguarding and child protection as well as workshops and integration programmes.
A Coffee Morning is held every Wednesday morning from 9.00 am – 10.00 am during which Speakers are invited to share their expertise and knowledge ie local children’s centre staff, information about local courses and parenting workshops as well as healthy choices.
It is also a signposting service for a diverse range of services within the area.
The Family Support Team also oversees the pupil attendance in school – for further information please speak with Mrs Ahmed or Mahmood. We would be delighted to meet you.
