We have had an increased number of requests for leave during term time. Please be aware any such leave is recorded as unauthorised and you, as parents, can be liable for a financial penalty notice which is classed as a criminal offence. Of course, it also affects the pupil’s attendance at school. Please try and avoid leave during school. Unfortunately, we have also had some parents start their summer break early by taking their children out of school without following the correct procedure. This is now being followed up and we encourage parents NOT to do this.
