Meeting 1’s (11.10.24) key points
- Introductions and greetings to the new UNICEF ambassadors.
- UNICEF ambassador’s role explored.
- UNICEF ambassadors to check if classes have displayed their new class charters.
- Article of the Week ppt to continue to be implemented in classes on a weekly basis.
- Playground project-replacing old climbing frame with a new one. Playground retailer’s website explored and a few climbing frames shortlisted for the rest of the pupils to vote on.
Meeting 2’s (04.11.24) key points:
- UNICEF ambassadors planned UNICEF week 2 for 7th-10th January 2025.
- UNICEF ambassadors to judge drama acts in KS1 and song/raps in Years 2-6.
- UNICEF ambassadors created a UNICEF ambassadors’ introductions video for the governors, which was later played in front of the governors in the governing body meeting.
