Autism Resource Base Admissions
Please note that placement decisions for our Autism Resource Base are not made by the school. Places are allocated through the Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review (SENAR) Team and the Local Authority, following the statutory assessment process.
To be considered for a place in the Resource Base, a child must have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that identifies autism as their primary need and specifies that a specialist autism resource base placement is appropriate.
As much as we welcome enquiries from parents and carers, the school is unable to offer or reserve places directly. All admissions to the Resource Base must be agreed and named through the Local Authority as part of the EHCP process.
For further information about specialist provision and EHCP applications, please look on the Birmingham Local Offer Website.
