CONCERNS
At Ward End we want all our children to feel happy and settled in school and we want their parents or carers to feel confident that their children are being given the opportunity to grow and develop personally and socially as well as academically.
If you have any concerns about your child’s time in school or anything you think we ought to know about your child in order to support them fully, please let us know.
We are a very open school and informal contact is welcome. All teachers are in their classrooms from 8.45 and will be glad to have a quick chat then. The Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher are also usually available at this time.
If you require a longer time, teachers will be more than happy to make an appointment for you.

COMPLAINTS
If you require a more formal meeting or feel you need to make a complaint you should contact the school office. You can do this:

  • In person at the office
  • By telephone 0121 464 5424 between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30p.m.
  • By writing to the Head Teacher
  • Ward End Primary School
  • Ingleton Road
  • Ward End
  • Birmingham
  • B8 2RA

Your complaint will be investigated as quickly as possible and you will be kept informed and involved at all stages.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to resolve your concern or you are not satisfied with the way your complaint is dealt with you should write to the Chairperson of the Governing Body at the school address.
