UNICEF Weeks
UNICEF Week 1: 4th-6th September 2024
This week’s purpose was to settle pupils into their new classes after returning from their school holidays. In addition, to discuss and reinforce expectations in how we can all work together to protect children’s rights.
To support this purpose, the week focused on the following themes/activities:
- UNICEF’s history and key language
- UNCRC articles (children’s rights)
- class charters (based on children’s rights)
- protective behaviours
- online safety and
- anti-bullying.
UNICEF Week 2: 7th-10th January 2025 (planned by the UNICEF lead and Ambassadors)
